Buildbench

Buildbench is a personal web workshop for parametric, 3D-printable designs: signs, enclosures, organizers and fixtures. The platform handles projects, drafts and security while each designer keeps its own workspace and tools. It is an internal prototype and not publicly available.

Highlights

  • 01 The first designer, Round Lightbox, generates every printable part of a wall-mounted, double-sided lightbox sign from a diameter and a logo.
  • 02 Threads, housing, mounting bars and wall bracket are all derived from the chosen size, with assembly checks for fit, collisions and bed size.
  • 03 Geometry runs in a Web Worker with Manifold, so the preview, the checks and the exported files all use the same solids.
  • 04 Sign-in is passkey-only.
